Mein Leben

Background

Mein Leben is an app offering users a platform to tell and document the story of their lives for future generations. The app allows users to create their own digital lives and fill it with memories, stories and knowledge, as well as videos and images.

Creation

Through video messages or via text, users create a log of personal stories or experiences. The app provides standardized questions to aid users in the process, while relatives may also ask personal questions as well. These memories transform the app into a life companion. The users’ “lives” then consist of the shared experiences in this life companion.

Experience

When users decide to share their “lives,” their friends and families can access and experience them. The life may then be freely navigated and explored, or through categories, timelines, filters or an internal search engine.

Features

Furthermore, the app lets users print out their “lives” as a 3D form and to then experience it with Augmented Reality.
